Please check out the details of our next event on Facebook!   All GolfKon Events benefit charities by having businesses donate directly to those charities for the opportunity to sponsor each hole. 100% of all donations go to the charities involved with absolutely zero administration costs. Everyone donates their time, provides food, prizes and produces everything that goes into each event out of their own pocket to help the charity. Businesses receive exposure during the event as well as the GolfKon Episodes following the event making it a win-win for all involved. Businesses donate depending on how many birdies and eagles are scored, which gives everyone added incentives to do well! Please visit our Charity section for more information.   On top of the charity aspect, GolfKon has rankings and a point system further motivating players. The season is broken up into 4 Majors and 2 Match-Play events. At each event there's a 5-hour qualifying period at which point the Top 4 advance during Majors, while the Top 8 advance during Match-Play. Players get only 5 games to post their best score for the day. Check out the players section as well as the rankings to better understand how to score. Order of Tournaments: The Superbowl Invitational Kicks-Off the Points Championship Season with the shortest of all 4 majors: only 9 holes played at halftime. The event runs from noon until the clock strikes 0:00 to end the 2nd quarter to make the Top 4. The finals take place at half-time and are the shortest Major Finals of the season: 1 round. It's anyone's game.   March Match-Play Madness, is the first Match-Play event of the season with the qualifying hours being 11am-2pm. It's an 8-Player Bracket with one wrinkle: all ties at the end of qualifying are broken with free throws. Match-Play Events are your best chance to qualify!   The Memorial Tournament is the 2nd GolfKon Major. A longer affair with the qualifying hours running 12-5pm for a more leisurely all-day cook-out atmosphere. The Top 4 play an 18-Hole final to determine the winner.   GolfKon's 3rd Major takes place on Independence Day with the qualifying hours running 11am-2pm. The Top 4 play an 18-Hole final to determine the winner with one wrinkle: the back 9 ends on The Gopher Hole 6 for added drama.   The final Major of the season has a back-breaking 36-Hole Finals to commemorate the anniversary of Adam's 18-hour days during Labor Day Weekend 2012 to finish the course. The start-time varies thanks to the brutal heat but it's usually late afternoon with a cut-off in the evening. No matter what, with 36 holes? You're playing into the night and you're exhausted. Hardest tournament at GolfKon by far.   The final event of the year is always everyone's favorite. Halloween Match-Play Madness makes costumes mandatory for qualifiers which makes for a colorful bracket at the end of the night.
